Self-test for micronutrient determination with the TAP®-Device
Would you like to determine your vital substance status and know the most important micronutrient values in your blood? With the TAP®-Device (single use) you can easily and painlessly carry out a blood test at home and send it in for analysis. It is a sophisticated, minimally invasive diagnostic method that allows you to collect capillary blood from your upper arm in a simple, independent and completely pain-free way.
Simple, clean and painless blood analysis
A micronutrient status with the TAP®-Device gives you a good overview of your supply of the most important vitamins, minerals, trace elements and fatty acids. It measures 11 vitamins, minerals and trace elements as well as 18 fatty acids, which are important for calculating the omega-3 index, for example.
How does blood analysis work with the TAP®-Device?
Normally, several blood collection tubes with venous blood are required for such analyses. This requires a visit to a doctor’s surgery. Analysing micronutrients from very small quantities of blood is a challenge that SwissAnalysis AG has successfully taken up. Thanks to the sophisticated technology, a whole range of values can be analysed with a small amount of blood. The laboratory then provides you with a detailed and easy-to-understand report on each individual value measured.
What does the blood analysis contain?
The test measures a total of 33 biomarkers: 5 minerals, 6 vitamins, 4 fatty acid ratios and 18 different fatty acids for their determination.
Minerals
- Copper
- Zinc
- Selenium
- Calcium
- Magnesium
Vitamins
- Vitamin A
- Vitamin B3
- Vitamin B5
- Vitamin B12
- Vitamin D3
- Vitamin E
Fatty acid ratios
- Omega-3 index
- Ratio of arachidonic acid (AA) to eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)
- Ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids
- Ratio of unsaturated to saturated fatty acids
Do you need help with the evaluation?
The blood analysis report is easy to understand, explains the various values and shows what can be done in the event of an under- or oversupply. If you would like more information, you can visit an online course or consult a therapist.
